For rebirth, read the actual named requirements. These objectives explain why the most expensive Secret is not necessarily the best next target. Keep your current earners until the alternative route and its cost are clear.

A practical first-Secret plan

1. List the cash you can commit without removing your main income source and the slot you can defend.
2. Choose a target whose reported route is actually available. A missing ritual or removed machine is a reason to change targets.
3. Read the exact offer or reward pool. A rarity guarantee is not an exact-character guarantee; a block purchase is not a direct unit purchase.
4. Set a stop condition for attempts: a fixed block budget, event end or the point where waiting sacrifices more useful progress.
5. When you obtain a copy, verify its full name and income, then secure it and update your collection plan.

Compare two source-based budgets

As a purely hypothetical calculation, a Wiki $80M La Vacca earning $325K/s has about 246.2 seconds of gross listed-cost earning time in an empty slot. A Wiki $600M Pot Hotspot at $2.5M/s gives 240 seconds on the same arithmetic. Those similar ratios do not make the acquisition costs equivalent: Pot Hotspot’s named route is a random block, whose cost and odds must be handled separately. Neither number tells you how long you will wait to obtain the character.

Protect progression ingredients

Before using a unit in a ritual or machine, compare the entire displayed recipe with your next rebirth requirements. A recipe consuming multiple productive copies has an opportunity cost even if you already own them. If a required menu is not available, do not treat an old screenshot as instructions for a current session.

Why there is no universal Secret timer

The reviewed Secret page groups many units with different income and availability. A conveyor weight, event spawn, block probability and ritual outcome are separate mechanisms. Watching a different Secret appear does not prove that your target is due next. A sensible route plan uses the exact target, current mechanism and a limited attempt budget instead of a countdown inferred from unrelated drops.
